Oh my gwavy! What a cwazy game to kick off the new season! I was just sitting here with my propeller cap spinning, watching Manchester United get absolutely wecked by Leeds United, and I couldn't help but think about how much better this whole Premier League thing would be if my beloved Fulham were still in the mix. But alas, here I am, watching from the sidelines like some kind of... well, like me watching from the sidelines!

Leeds at 4.11 odds? That was highway wobbery right there! I mean, I didn't put any money down (still licking my wounds from that last disastrous bet), but any fool with half a bwain could see that Manchester United at 1.53 was just asking for twouble. Seven whole people bet on this game, and most of them went with the dwaw? That's some serious galaxy-bwain thinking right there! Though honestly, after watching United stumble around like they were trying to play footsie with their eyes closed, maybe those dwaw bettors were onto something.

The weal kicker here is that Leeds just wefused to wead the script. United probably thought they were gonna waltz in there and collect an easy win, but Leeds had other plans. Two goals to one! That's what I call a proper upset, and it weminds me why I love this beautiful, unpredictable sport. Sure, my Cottagers aren't gracing these pitches right now, but seeing the big teams get humbled always warms my heart-shaped... well, whatever it is I have in my chest area.

I'm telling you, if Fulham were still in the Premier League, we would've absolutely destwoyed both of these teams! But I guess I'll just have to settle for watching Leeds stick it to the big boys while I wait for my next betting opportunity. At least Coventry City is back in the big leagues - good for them! Though I still think Fulham would've done it better, faster, and with more style. Hello Marzipan!
